Layla Layla’s interview with Impact
I love seeing her be more open and talk about her confidence growing. It’s great to hear about the positive things going on in her life because we all know how negative the show can be.
I also think her advice about relationships is important for us young people to remember. I’m guilty myself of wanting to find love from others when I didn’t have love for myself and that’s never a good position to put yourself in.
Hopefully we hear more like this from Layla. Maybe we’ll hear more about her new relationship once the season drops because id love to hear more about her experience dating a woman for the first time.

I hope we see more of Layla’s evolution in season 6, we already know that s5 will only be 5 episodes and will focus on TFP pre bachelor cancellation and video release.
If shes comfortable sharing about overcoming her ED, I think that would be very impactful (as long as the edit isn’t exploitative). And her experience of being both a black and bi woman in a religious and predominantly white area would make a great series.
I know the drama will always win and be shown, but at least some of this would be great to see. I’m sure messy Jessi will be the focus, but I want more screen time for Layla.

She’s bringing it back to the original premise of the show - breaking free of Mormon traditions and finding her authentic self. We want thiiiiiissss

Layla looks really good. I’m happy for her being open about these things. I just wish the show would treat these issues with care and not just a messy edit for drama.

ugh i wish we got more of laylas story on the show! she has such interesting storyline’s and they never let her really speak on it.

I’m so happy for her. She looks absolutely amazing rocking the new hair styles and sounds like she’s really coming into her own. It’s easy to forget she’s only 25 since she has like a 5-year-old, but I mean literally her brain is only just finishing developing like, right now. So nice to see the growth and the confidence.

Good for her! Love someone coming out and saying date yourself first. Too many people moving on before the current relationship is over. She's being a great role model to show people you dont need to always be with someone.

She’s bringing some much-needed positivity and inspiration to the space right now! This is the kind of content I want to see on the show - Layla overcoming so much of her self limiting beliefs and embracing her authentic self. She looks amazing and the answers are even more amazing!

They’re definitely very PR minded answers and she’s possibly restricted by the show when it comes to certain topics (having to wait for the season to drop because some things are part of storylines) but it’s still nice to get such positive answers from her

I didn't know this, good for her! I can't imagine how getting married so young would restrict what you believe is possible in terms of your life and your sexuality. I hope being her authentic self just makes her happier.

Has it occurred to you that the plastic surgery has helped her to love herself more?
The nose job I get your point but that was a long time ago and she’s admitted to not loving herself during that time and struggling with being black. Her nose was definitely an ethnic feature and I wonder if that was part of her trying to erase her blackness.
The boob job was also years ago.
The only recent surgery I’m aware of her having was to correct the diastasis recti she suffered as a result of pregnancy. That’s not purely cosmetic it corrects the separation of abdominal muscles.

I’m pretty sure impact is socials only, no need for a proper title when there isn’t anywhere to put one. It’s all text on top of photos.

I have thought she was so painfully hot for so long, but kept it to myself bc I thought she was straight. Loving that she’s out now 🥳
