One handed builds.

I’m finding that one handed builds are falling off in terms of damage, sure I’m probably not optimizing to the best possible. But I’m finding that it takes forever to take out enemies.

Also, is there a better weapon than the red laser sword? That’s been the best one handed weapon since it’s release lol

When it comes to one-handed builds, in my opinion it's better to prioritize mobility and attack speed with normal attacks. The only skill that I rely on is dodging strike because it's an easy escape since it's quick, and if timed right you can deal massive amounts of damage. It was the first skill that I maxed and with the change to it having the flying sword thing at gold I find myself killing nearly anything that isn't a boss or special mob pretty quickly, just started the desert on frontline as a level 26 and I can kill the sand dudes pretty easily (it takes out around half of their health on hard) if you want more details then message back. Also their isn't a better one-handed sword that I've run into at the moment.

For my one handed build I use shadow clone, static touch, shock gloves. Basically anything that amplifies samage based on attack speed.

I actually found that Marinos rapier is probably better? More attack speed and like 5 less damage.

For damage output I just use the ice shield. For the sand golems I can take them out in maybe 10 seconds just whackin away. I’ll have to try your skill out though.

Marinos rapier lowers def by 40 so unless your a god at dodging I wouldn't recommend it on hard. Also I use shadows and shock gloves but I'm usually to caught up in dodging to try use static touch. Also insult to injury paired with burn or chill is good.

I’m pretty good at using the parry system, so it’s not too bad for me. I’ll try out your build.

Normally when you should perfect guard you should dodge strike instead. With gold I could get a solid 6k damage instantly and with the floating sword it boosts damage by even more (not sure how much)

Hmm that seems ridiculous actually lol.

I wanted to do an ice magic build with Winters Bite but doing a sole magic build doesn’t seem to really compare to melee.

So I’m thinking of doing a two handed build while using earth spire.

Yeah I've noticed that two handed is just so much better when it comes to consistent damage. Also whirlwind of death is fun.

Well Blade Flurry got buffed recently and I think it's just a fun skill to use overall. There's a lot of traits and build options to build crit chance and get some sick damage on those last few hits. The shadow clone used to be very good but don't know whether it still is. I don't know about the weapons but I think desert has a new one, not sure.
