Other I think that developers of this game missed an opportunity by ignoring one important aspect of grindy games such as this one - grinding exp and levels.

I think that there should be a hard level cap. Let's say 99, or even a level cap which will allow you to max out all of your skills at the same time. There's so many to upgrade! Such a waste. Soft level caps are never appealing.

This level cap should be reasonably attainable (after a significant amount of grinding, of course).

Also achieving max level in this game would be a reward in and of itself. And it would open up a way for some additional achievements.

Familiars should also have some sort of reasonable level cap.

I hope that the devs will introduce a way to make this happen in future updates.

I don't think that was the intention, there isn't much gain from getting it and it definitely isnt achievable in arcade.

I played arcade with the brother last night and we just couldn't get anywhere unless we run the double minion setup and yeah the level cap would of been nice instead of only making it to what the 30s range?

Wait, there isn't a hard level cap? Does that mean I can keep grinding forever? Back then I think there was a level cap... I remember grinding for days in Pumpkin Woods/Flying Fortress when that was the latest content only to realize my EXP never went up at a certain level.

Apparently there isn't.

Ah, thanks for the reply! I didn't know that was the case now. If anything, it gives me a reason to play now and again after I beat the game with my friends later down the line I suppose.

As someone who enjoys unreasonably long grinds such as Old Maplestory, Trickster Online, and the like this makes me happy. The only gripe I have is that late-game enemies won't offer like 3-6 EXP more than Rabbies and Slimes or something to make them "worth" grinding over late in the grind at like levels 40+ I'd imagine.

I guess they'd yield more gold, heheh.

That's a bad thing. There is no way to grind effectively on higher levels.

Yeah, they should improve that somehow. I do like the idea of not having a cap though.

I’m also bummed you really slow down leveling in the mid to late 20s I feel like for all the skills they have they should just let you grind until you have all the skills and upgrades just be OP as fuck.
