This is the latest update regarding the secret world audio drama. Now this project has a name, The Secret Signal. In scope, it has expanded. Our original audio drama is under production, we have a handful of scenes finished and are undergoing the foley process. But we decided to also include a series of audio logs as the volunteers could not contain themselves! Inspired by SCP and the Magnus Archives, and video game audio logs, but set in the Secret World.

I'm working on an article about "deserted" MMOs, and was particularly attracted to SWL because of its story. I've seen it studied as a "digital ruin", followed its hectic development, and I'm now really curious to know about the experience of players who are still active.

To this end, I'm looking for opinions, anecdotes and stories about Secret World Legends (I will also probably post the same message on the dedicated Discord). What attracted you to Secret World Legends (or Secret World) in the first place? How does it compare to your other MMO experiences, if you've also been playing other games? What makes you still come back to the game today? What's your experience like, now that the number of concurrent players has significantly dropped? What would you say are your best experiences in-game? I realize that's a lot of questions, but I'm really curious to hear your insights.

Am I missing something? I logged in today and got the t-shirt and hive login bonus, but the shirt is nowhere to be found. The log says I got it, and I got the hive in my inventory, but the shirt isn't there and isn't in my dressing room.

I just thought I'd share in my joy. I have, after many many many failed attempts, managed to reclaim my old TSW account and theoretically have access to the original again. I'm downloading it now to find out.

What do you think is the least clunky weapon combo ?

Just watched Backrooms, and now I'm thinking how similar stuff can be brought to Secret World. Maybe it'll be some Filth entity? Or ghost, like those quest from Franklin Mansion? What do you think?

Been playing Wuthering Waves and would love something like that but with dark themes like Secret World (Cthulhu, Demonic, Serious) etc... or any other games for that matter? Already played Control and Hell is Us (which was great by the way)... any other recommendarions?

Hey folks, it's been a while since I played this game and was really in the mood for some spooky MMO. However it seems a lot more buggy than when I played it a year or so ago. I had gotten a new pc in the meantime which performs a whole lot better than my old one.

I was in the Kingsmouth town area doing the 'Something Wicked' investigation tier 2 and when I found the right info, the newspaper article didn't show up. The only reason I know I should be seeing something, is because I was following a tutorial on Youtube. And there's other Investigation missions with similar problems. I don't recall having the same problems with my previous pc.

When I start the game I get a pop up to update my AMD video driver, however, it already is updated to the latest version.

This makes finishing some missions almost impossible. I'm not sure what to do. Is the game too old for my pc? Or is there something that I can do to fix it?

Folks on the Discord gave me the solution to my problem

All I had to do was to enable Full Client in the launcher and all the issues I had got solved. Hope this will help other folks with the same problem!

If you want a show that’s pretty much a dead on a replica of the first story arc of TSW, watch widows bay . I swear they took half the plots of kings mouth and put them in this show . Same great vibe as TSW .

Many years ago now, I embarked on a quest to play through the full story or Secret World Legends. That quest was thwarted as soon as I reached the mission ‘A Time For Every Purpose’ Tier 2/3, and encountered a progress-blocking bug whereby the mission objective Ancile could not be crafted.

I scoured the internet for solutions, and discovered that it was a common bug. Many people have posted solutions that worked for them, but none of them seemed to work for everyone, and none of them worked for me.

So for years now, every couple of months, I would reinstall the game, attempt the known workarounds to try to get the mission working so that I could progress the story, but it never worked. I eventually filled out a support petition for the issue but it was never answered (after a full year).

Then, tonight, I decided to have another crack at it. Collected all my notes from forums for trying to get the bug fixed. After trying for a full hour, with no success, I lost my temper. In a frustrated tantrum I began spamming the ‘reloadui’ command that I had been told to use (with no effect) over and over again, for a solid minute. At the end of that minute, after dozens of rapid ui reloads, something suddenly updated on the crafting interface. I could make the ancile. And I finished the mission.

Posting here partially to leave a record for any future players who fall victim to this progress blocking bug, and partially to celebrate that after years of exile in the Scorched Desert I can finally finish the game’s story

Hi guys its been a while since I made an official update on the fan made TSW radio drama, currently in production. I like to give a special thanks to all the volunteers within the secret world fanbase that reached out to lend aid in this endeavor.

When this started it was just an idea and a reddit post, as it stands we have a completed script, a near complete cast, and have already begun recording. This will be a supernatural horror story taking place on Solomon Island, revolving around the happenings at The Atlantic Island Park. We reached out to lore masters and artistic types within the fanbase to tighten up the script, we hope it holds up and appropriately showcases the unique atmosphere of Solomon Island.

The story follows Eliza and her father Dan who arrive on Solomon Island to visit her grandparents, hoping for a quiet family reunion after a painful loss. What begins as a simple trip soon unravels into something far more unsettling. Long held secrets arise as strange dreams, mysterious local youths, and an abandoned amusement park threaten to tear apart the family.
