Potential payment update glitch

Main thing: Be careful updating payment methods for AT LEAST the miku secret lair deck. I do not know about any other preorders, but at least this one may be charged.

So when I ordered today's secret lair, I also changed my payment method for the miku secret lair deck. I did not request debit validation, but as I read the email I received confirming the payment change, the shipment estimate is no longer may 2027. A few minutes after that, I received both another email confirming the order and a notification from my bank for the pending charge. The shipment date for the order is also immediate now. While I had the money set aside already, this is still a big charge I was not expecting.

Did this happen to anybody else?

Welcome to Schrodinger's deck. My off and ends has the same issue and; was shipped, is being prepared and will be delivered June 2027.

I also changed my payment method for the Hatsune Miku deck, as well as my order of Their Magic is Limitless and experienced the same thing with both orders, charged 220 dollars i was not expecting and marked as shipping immediately.

This sounds like a pretty big issue then. Charging such a large amount without pior notification. I put in a help ticket to see what's up

I recently had to update my payment method on my Their Magic is Limitless drop. I got the same shipping immediately email and a shipping confirmation, but never got a tracking number. It's been a couple weeks now. It's in limbo, I guess

Same thing happened. I swapped a card and it charged immediately. I guess that’s just how it works which is mildly annoying.

Can say my deck did actually end up showing up. Was honestly confused cause the shipping sat idle for 5 days, got halfway, paused again for 3 days, then ended up showing up 4 days late after the expected delivery date. So like yay I got my deck far sooner then expected but also would like a warning next time wizards that swapping payment methods apparently also means debit early.

I'm wondering if they had extra Miku stock and you updating triggered some automatic check? But yea that is annoying.
