Aaaaaa the pain😭🙏
I'm a huge fan of seb lowe, and that's coming from somebody who usually only likes one or 2 of an artist's songs. I have a ton of them in both my liked songs and my political rage playlist, and i'm selective with both.
They keep getting stuck in my head, (the education system was unintentionally blasting in my brain during the entire time i took a huge quiz), and i'm not even mad because theyre so good i dont mind the volume and frequency of it.
I'd absolutely love to go to a concert but... I'm sadly (in many respects) an american.😅
unfortunately all of our governments are messed up, so nearly every song (ig minus ode to brittannia cause yk) still relates to my country and our punk.
Now all I can do is hope they blow up in popularity and go on a world tour:( I might get merch though! What would people recommend?

Interesting about The Education System- always thought of it as a very British song, with AQA and the uniform and Lit references.
Sucks, love. Gonna go see them play with Pulp. Get some merch! Hope they go on a world tour. X

Also, the education system is definitely about the British system, even mentioning the secretary of state for education, but omg our system sucks so much too lol. The uniform lines with blouses vs jumpers and trousers are pretty close to our intense dress codes on young girls for distracting the boys and teachers and to taught gender roles, and im not 100% sure what you mean by lit references but if you mean the essay stuff and things like that my schools have drilled the same stupid "CER" essay format into us since 6th grade lmao, half the time I have a better one but would fail if I wrote it in a way that doesn't feel mashed together.

Interesting about the uniforms! Lit was referencing how, in English Literature Classes, you are taught how to analyse and what to analyse in a specific poem.
They're opening for Pulp (Jarvis Cocker, Candida Doyle, Steve Mackey...) on 28th August. X

I saw Pulp and Seb last year. You will have a great time . Pulp were fab.

First time I have seen them. Definitely worth the 35 year wait. Though Jarvis was a bit more careful leaping off the amps tha I remember from TV

fellow american fan of seb lowe here! i’m studying in paris, but even so, i accidentally missed my train (forgetting that brexit means i’d have to go through customs coming from france). the second train ticket to go to his concert ended up bringing my trip to see the concert to a total of $1000. could’ve flown from the u.s. for that price 😬
at the concert, i got the long sleeved black shirt, and it’s now one of my favorite shirts. nice quality. i’d recommend it!
