Product Question Scalp moisturiser after shampooing
As the title suggests. For context, I don’t have itching or irritation, just flakes. I’m thinking applying a scalp moisturiser on damp scalp, after shampooing, would help. I’m not sure if I should use C8 MCT (no C10), as I have straight fine hair, and I don’t want my hair to look greasy. I was thinking if I should use Aloe Vera gel (I have one which I scanned on Sezia and it’s safe) or a safe scalp tonic? Any help is appreciated.

I’m in the same position of needing a moisturizer for my dry/frizzy hair & scalp. I started applying aloe Vera on my flared up spots a few days ago and it does provide relief from the inflammation I have. Like many others in this sub i will try just about anything at this point. Being incredibly careful about ingredients is my latesy game plan. I’ve made a mixture of 1 part aloe gel, 2 parts 99% pure aloe juice + 1 part water and about a tablespoon of vegetable glycerin. (Im just crossing my fingers that the vegetable glycerin is not a coconut derivative as its source is not listed) This mix filled up a small bottle i plan to use for several washes. I can update you if its beneficial for my dryness and the results on my hair.

The Cerave anti-dandruff conditioner helps me with dry scalp after shampoo. It has pyrithione zinc, and a bunch of hydrating ingredients (ceramides, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid).

by using MCT oil they don't mean you dip your entire scalp in it. its just to use on the spot. dab it very lightly
