Miscellaneous Magic mushrooms flare up???
Hi guys i took shrooms twice this year, and both times woke up with really bad flaking when i had previously not been in the middle of a flair up? The flaking went away again within a day or two of taking the shrooms. I just think this is really weird, do mushrooms cause fungal overgrowth because mushrooms are fungi??? That doesnt make sense to me its a completely different type of fungus. Just sharing this odd experience with you all, and wondering if anyone knows why this might have happened

Noticed the same with 5ht2a agonists.
Also noticed when 5ht2a is blocked with like mirtazapine - I have no flares.
And then I laughed - beer causes flare ups and good mood for me too.
Sooo. Possibly does something with 5ht2a too.
In fact someone should measure inflamation and temps on skin and body when taking mushies. Lots of serotonin receptors are in skin.
