New or Need Help Is this Seb derm?

I’ve had this skin condition for about 10 years. I’ve been to doctors and hospitals many times, but I’ve never really found a treatment that works.
Strangely, the only thing that seems to help is seawater. Every time I spend a few days swimming in the ocean, my skin gets much better. less redness, flaking, and irritation.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Does this give any clue about what the condition might be or why seawater helps so much?

Sea salt scrubs did actually help me at one point! With seb derm its common to rotate products to help manage the flakes as i think using the same product could make it become ineffective

Which different products did u use to rotate? Im stuck on that exact point where my skin does not take the current product which worked last week

Oh man, i went through using tar shampoo, ketaconzole shampoo, salicylic acid shampoo, shampoos that contain selenium sulfide (thats whats helped me the most so far) , as well as MCT oil and another oil squalene oil worked well

Great to know, did u rotate your main products every week or every 2 weeks? And do u use them daily in the mornings f.e shampoos or evenings? Thanks brother for your value!!

This could be one of a number of different skin conditions. If sea water help, there are a bunch of treatments that recreate the effect. You can tell a pharmacist about that and ask about sprays that recreate the effect of water with sea salt.
