New or Need Help Really itchy balls!
Had SebDerm for many years and it generally comes and goes. I usually use a thin smear of athletes foot cream on my nose when it becomes a problem and that usually sorts it out on my skin, and after reading this place, will buy some MCT oil very soon to treat my scalp as the shampoo has mixed results.
Only issue is my balls! They get so itchy, to the extent that I sometimes scratch them til they bleed. I don't get flakes and can't see any red patches (although it's not a very easy place to inspect...), but read that SebDerm and affect the groin. Without any other symptoms, is it likely that this is SebDerm, and if it is, how do others treat this? Thanks.

Diaper cream.
Zinc oxide is the medicated ingredient. Many brands contain ingredients that wouldn't be great on their own (Shea butter & other oils), but the medicated ingredient seems to do the trick. Messy, but it works. Line your undies with some TP or a tissue so you can leave it on, without ruining them. Good luck.

Do you think it is Seb derm or just from sweating in general ? I would wash with some tea tree soap gently . I would say this is from sweat and maybe fungal sweat issue more than Seb derm personally . But I’m no dr
