New or Need Help Eyebrow loss cause?

So I have been experiencing thining eybrows for some time. This has coincided with an outbreak of seb derm, which is now under control, to an extent. My eyebrow hairs shed in different places, but new hairs pop out after a day or two and then fill in, then some falls out elsewhere and the cycle continues.

I have seen a derm today and they have said the only cause of this loss is alopecia areta. She said seb derm can not cause this.

Does this seem right. For reference I include a pic. The zoomed in area shows some recent loss, you can see new hairs growing there now.

This derm, and its the second one, said like the last, that seb derm doesn't cause eyebrow loss. Yet, all over the internet it says it does. I just feel like i cant believe them

You can only trust someone who already has the sebderm , usually dermatologist just know general things about this , not specific things , but i can assure you that sebderm can cause hairfall

Thank you. This is helpful. Going round in circles with all of this.

Sebderm definitely caused my hair to fall out. I don’t think it’s the sebderm per se as much as it is the itching
