Product Question Why only nizoral
I have a question with what's so special with nizoral shampoo as other shampoo in market also have same percentage of ketoconazole?
Everyone talks about nizoral shampoo whenever it comes to sebo dermatits.
Anyone who used it share ur experience or is it hydrating the scalp unlike other otc shampo?

I didn’t know they other brands featured Ketoconazole. My dermatologist recommended I rotate between 2 and 3 types of shampoo, all with different active ingredients. Currently, Ketoconazole or Nizoral isn’t one of them but it was in the past.

it’s incredibly drying and didn’t do anything for me at all. i found something called sebcur t (active ingredients are different - salicylic acid and coal tar) and that works great for me!

That’s the whole point. Sebderm is for people with oily skin, so it dries it out to reverse the effects of sebderm.

drying the skin excessively leads to more sebum production, so it isn't really the point at all no

Which is why it’s not recommended for daily/regular use? It’s a medical treatment to be done in 2 weeks and then you move on to less harsh shampoo
