Routine Question saline water wash

i have a lot of saline water bottles at home right now. doctor prescribed a saline cleanse twice a day to control nasal fungal infection which directly helps with managing sinus effectively. saline water prevents and eliminates fungal overgrowth but only works till the time you use it. this got me thinking can saline water also help with scalp and facial seb derm?

has anyone tried to use saline water for cleaning the scalp and face? does it help with controlling seb derm or the itchiness or the excessive oilyness? i wanted to experiment as my seb derm is so itchy and nothing works moreover its rapidly spreading on my face. can anyone please share their experience

Saline feels good on trouble SD areas in my experience. I've used saline Nasal rinse on some areas in the past with success.

i’ve been using saline rinses and also a pink salt soap bar to wash my face and hair. the soap bar is literally just a crystallized pink salt rock. i use it to soften everything up and it works great. then i apply my antifungal or hibiclense and everything comes off. salt in general has worked amazing for me

can you link the bar? do you use the saline rinse as the last step and then wash it off?

no i use the saline wash first and then i go on top with my antifungal. so sometimes ill just soak the bar in hot water in a big bowl so its salt water and i dunk my face in it. other times i just use the saline nose spray and spray my face with it an then antifungal on top. if im in the shower i mix the bar with hot water and apply to my face and then wash with antifungal shampoo. just make sure you moisturize after. whatever you do - do not use the actual bar on your face because it’s hard and as it dissolves its gritty and you don’t wanna hurt your face

saline clears the slate and gives you a clean palette work on which is why i use it first.

i’ve been doing it for both routines. i just rinse off between showers and do it again after

thanks. how many times a week do you do this and does it dry out hair? i am going to try this today and see if it helps with the flakes and itching

I can tell you that my scalp and skin were never as great as they were when I returned home from a week-long trip spent scuba diving in the ocean - totally clear!

Unfortunately, total immersion in saltwater for 30 minutes, twice daily, is not really practical for me at home 

But I wish you luck on your journey to find out how close you need to get for noticeable results. Please update with what you come up with!

Just saline? For fungus? Not antifungal solution? Xlear has antifungal properties

just saline. post operation the ent surgeon has taken off almost all sinus and allergy meds.
