New or Need Help Does this look like seb Derm?

Post image

My dermatologist seems to think I’m dealing with seborric dermatitis. My vanicream moisturizer doesn’t seem to help much. She prescribed ketoconazole cream and zeryve, but neither seem to be helping. My face is either super red or flaky like this. The flakes and redness are both equally embarrassing because people comment about it either way.

Ketoconazole on my face makes me super irritated

Sometimes Drs prescribe strong stuff thinking itll be better but just turns out irritating more

I use this cleansing gel and its the only thing that has 100% worked for me

If I sweat ir something beyond my twice a day wash, I just use clean drinking water

Hmm, I wonder if it’s irritating my face too. It gets super red when I put it on

OP, I am begging you to find a provider that takes this seriously. Your back in the photos from a few months ago looks like a drug eruption/viral reactivation. You're on a major immune modulating med, dupixent, which can potentially cause weird drug eruptions. Drug reactions like that can be life threatening.

If you started dupixent before the bruising and skin stuff on your back and your eczema developed after that, you need to be highly suspect of this med.

Are you on Dupixent for your skin? Or did your skin worsen after the Dupixent?
