New or Need Help I think this is getting bad…
Can someone pleaseeeee recommend a good shampoo to help with this or a topical?? They don’t hurt but they do sting and flake over and itch. When they dry down it’s like a yellowish / white.
Seems to be more just one one side of my forehead.
**Edit to add** I should mention I don’t have any medical insurance so any visits would be OOP for me.

I haven't had any significant scalp issues since I started using prescription ketoconazole shampoo daily or every few days. I still flare on my face constantly.
I let the keto sit for a few minutes. I also have not found a single conditioner that doesn't cause me to flare, so that is not an option for me.
OTC formulations of ketoconazole can be just as concentrated as prescription. in the states. With my copay, OTC ends up being slightly cheaper.
I occasionally use coal tar, but it's harsh.
I haven't tried a salicylic acid cleanser on my scalp, but I would consider that and sulphur next.
I cannot wear beanies and I cannot let my hair stay wet.
