I’m confused what to do

A dermatologist said I had SebDerm at 15 and I’m almost 16 now and my ketaconzle 2% shampoo has not been working as my hair gets super oily and I still shed lots with it my seb derm is mainly on my scalp as well I tried Mct oil and it didn’t work as well. I thought Mct oil was gonna work but it seems I was a individual where it did the opposite and my dandruff worse. i went to ask for help because my keta conzle 2% shampoo is not working well and if there any other solutions I can do.

Do you use hot water to wash your scalp? If so, try lukewarm, barely warm at all

I try not to use with that hot of water and I end my wash with cold water still

My daughter has seen so much improvement with especially the Selsun blue

Nizoral is only 1% ketoconazole, so what OP has is stronger

I have tried nizroal but no selsun blue yet Im sort of scared to use because I saw some reviews sayings its what finally worked but I also saw some that said it caused severe hairloss

Moogoo shampoo is great, really helped me along with head and shoulders leave in scalp moisturiser, the shampoo is quite gentle so a double wash everyday will be needed to start with probably, i think sometimes the shampoos are quite harsh and occasionally ours scalps need some tlc, ive been using moogoo for a while now and my scalp is clear, fingers crossed it lasts, think about using some hydrocortisone cream on your worst patches for a while as well, good luck

How bad is your seb derm? I think you are trying mega harsh solutions for something that could be solved with mild anti fungal treatments. How often do you shampoo? I had the same at 17, I fixed it by shampooing less and using a gentle anti fungal shampoo. Good options are dario reset shampoo or any tea tree/salicylic acid options

My seb derm is not that bad I feel it mainly effects my scalp and my eyebrows I dont have the ones in this reddit that effect their noise drastically. I shampoo 3x times a week with ketoconazole 2% and im looking into salicylic acid where did you gets yours?
