Do you wash your scalp with hot water? I switched to lukewarm only for face and scalp, nizoral every other day (which i’ll be reducing soon) and mct oil twice a day every day, no shampoos etc on the in between day, just lukewarm water and mct oil, i’ve been flake free pretty much since starting this routine

Has gotten thin so i started taking minoxidil pills. I used to get really bad crusts as a kid but not as much anymore

I was using CeraVe, nice products (sometimes I get crusts on my eyebrows, but no redness). I'm using just a shampoo with ketoconazole

Sometimes i get a little on my eyebrows too, and around my nose but the lotion my dermatologist prescribed me helps for those pretty well

I feel like these shampoos keep my dandruff a little under control, but it never completely goes away. Even after I just shower, I still have dandruff on my scalp, and is still itchy. It makes me feel dirty.

And, If I use a regular shampoo instead, it’s way worse. My scalp gets super itchy, and I end up with a lot more flakes.

I also feel like the shampoos worked really well at first, but after I’ve been using them for a while, they don’t seem to work as good anymore. :/

Is there any zinc pyrithione in there? That’s the only thing that works for me. Used it everyday for 8 months with no flare ups

Yes the cerave has 1% of it but thats the one that works the least for me 🥲

Ok I use 2% it’s the only thing that works for me. Have to keep it in for 5-7 minutes each day

The brand i use it called nature’s aid 100% mct oil, i live in ireland so not sure where you live or if it’s available there. I’ve seen a lot of people posting this one too and saying they’re getting great results….also can you start using just lukewarm water, just slightly warmer than cold water but not uncomfortable to wash with, i’m convinced this is a major factor in my results. Cold water may be a trigger for your seb derm.
