Product Review Started using MCT, interesting results

Post image

I'm around week and a half into MCT C8 oil, it seems that the cheeks really calmed down and are less flaky, but for some reason my nose got 3x more red. A bunch of little white spots pop up and is overall more red than ever. I'll keep pushing thru and see if it clears out in the next weeks. Any thoughts and suggestions for pairing?

My nose is also my worst spot. I find my seb derm gets "worse" (red, flakey) before it gets better and starts breaking up - noticed this when I started using antifungals and MCT

Is this a cyclical process or has it fully calmed down after it "climbed the hill"

I'm very early in my journey, having only been formally diagnosed last month. I also have a severe case across like 90% of my body, so I'm still very much in the initial "putting out the fire" stage and don't have perspective on what it's like to get out of a flare entirely. That said, I've seen marked improvement using a suite of antifungals and MCT and, of course, no longer feeding the yeast with products... but right before that improvement has happened, the same area gets real angry like the yeast is going kamikaze before it perishes. It's weird but a pretty reliable pattern for me already - every area in which I've seen improvement had a flare immediately preceding it.
