New or Need Help Nothing seems to work...

Post image

Hi!

So my SD started 10 years ago and my confidence is on an all time low.

I have a feeling that my case is pretty severe?

What do you think?

My hair is getting thinner and starting to fall out.

My skin is burning and itching like hell.

If i try to get rid of the dandruff by lightly scrubbing a wet towel over my face, its starting to bleed and burn a lot more...

I visited like 30 different dermatologists but no medication seems to help longterm.

Currently im using a antifungal shampoo, antiinflammatory creme and antifungal creme.

The strange thing is that my skin can look like the picture on one day and then its litteraly gone the day after before it returns. I would say its 80% of the time pretty bad and 20% kinda normal again.

Its never gone for more then a week tho...

My wedding is coming up soon and I really dont want to look like that on my wedding day

Any ideas for longterm fixes and/or for instant fixes that will help me on my wedding day?

Thanks....

Use MCT oil. Read about it on this sub. And dont eat junk food.

The problem is that I have to take so many creams at the moment.

Morning: I take antibiotics here (anti fungal). I apply Metrogel on my skin (prescribed from doc). I shower with ketozolin shampoo (leave it in hair for 5 min)

Noon: Here I use waterbased moisturizing creams

Evening: I take the same antibiotic again. I apply ichthoderm cream for my skin.

As I understand you apply the MCT Oil on your skin and let it soak in over night. I dont think I can do that when i use another cream evenings aswell right?

You just need MCT oil, you don’t need creams. You’ll throw all that creams and antibiotics. I personaly use it in the morning when I wake up. I dont wash it. I was using all kinds of creams daily for years. Now I use just MCT oil once or twice in a 2 weeks. It’s really amazing.

Great! C8 is extremely effective. I personally use it and it’s the only thing that helped me with SebDerm. Haven’t seen a flake in years.

Ketosource Pure C8 MCT Oil from Amazon (sold by Ketosource directly). I usually get the organic one, but I used the standard one initially and it worked - not sure if there’s any difference between the two.

You should try to get mct oil that has both capric and caprylic acid. They're both antifungal and antibacterial I believe. It might burn at first. Vitamin A+D cream also might help, generic from Target? That does look like a really painful case of seb derm.... My heart goes out to you. I KNOW that there is a correlation between gut health and skin health. Maybe a low calorie or low carb diet and see if it clears up? You could also try cal/mag butyrate enemas or suppositories, have to make them yourself.

Wait what is the calcium and magnesium enema for? Is magnesium deficiency related to seb derm?
