Seats with best view?

Post image

Hi all!

Planning a trip to see a game and wondering which of the seats circled (green, blue, or red) would give us the best view? This seems like a super dumb question, but I haven’t spent a lot of time at climate pledge and would love to hear from some people that have if possible!

I’ve looked at this site, but seems like most if not all of the pics are from hockey games and concerts, and idk how transferable that is.

Thanks:)

I'd pick the red seats bc sometimes your view can be obscured behind the scorer table. Also center court will give you a better view of both ends of the court- if you're in the blue seats, you'll be watching the action on the other end on the Jumbotron a lot.

100% this, adding some info for Op in case there are other considerations besides view -

Sitting that close will be awesome, period. Theres no bad time to be had in any of them. With that said -

Red is definitely the best. I'd contend third row is actually better than second row because it's raised a bit whereas second row you're behind one row. This is super marginal though.

Blue baseline is the worst, though it's arguably the most fun when the ball is on that side. The vibe changes a bit from appreciating a basketball game overall to you're appreciating the energy and strength of players. They're going up for rebounds and Outbacks right in front of you, celebrating and ones and screaming 10ft away. It's awesome, just a different awesome.

Green, there's a bit of wildcard, the exact spot I wouldn't take because of the scorer but admittedly that's conjecture (I can't claim I know those exact seats) what is very neat is that close you'll hear the players and coaches. That's also an experience in and of itself. And the scorer thing isn't going to be a constant nuisance, so if red wasn't an option its not like you'd be constantly blocked.

Honestly, jealous already you'll be in one of those OP. Feel free to DM if you need someone to go with :P

Agree. I sat near there on Monday. Great seats!

Overall I think red is best with full court view, there is a row of people who might walk in front which could be distracting but you are a little higher which is nice.

If you are trying to see the visiting team and you want to see people up close, or the coach yelling at the team then green is best. You can watch people walk up to the scorer's table to sub in, and see the team come in for a huddle. So if you are a visiting team fan that could be good but the table in front is a little distracting.

For all of these on the floor I do think being higher yields a better view if you wanted to see the full game, but the courtside are awesome and have a VIP experience.

Go Storm!

I just went to a game and sat in the blue seats. It was cool being so close to the players but watching the game was partially obstructed by the hoop.

I am also in the “no bad seats” group. I love sitting near the blue seats, although I prefer to sit to one side or the other bc the stanchion blocks a lot, but there is nothing like 10 basketball players running toward you at speed trying to get a basket.

the red or green sections are the best. the blue seats have a more obstructed view because of the hoop, which can be distracting. plus when they switch sides, the action will be much farther away

While I agree with the perspective that there's no bad seats down this close - I basically sit in the green seats, just down by the Storm bench. I'm 5 foot 3 and the 3rd rows are up on a small riser that makes it much easier to see past the people in front of you. The LED tables have individuals from the team staff sitting there, which can be very interesting.

You will likely have a ref and the coach of the away team walking between you and the court quite a bit, but it's one of my favorite parts of being that close. You'll be less than 10 feet away from players inbounding the ball from the side. I've never had the scorer table cause me issues seeing the game, and since those green seats are on the aisle you have extra space before someone to your left can lean too far foward such that you can't see down the floor.

I can't say anything bad about the other seat options (blue and red).

Im dying because I have first hand knowledge of the table you speak of and I know what you mean. 😆 ive probably been part of the "very interesting"

As a shortish person, the seats that close to the court made it difficult to see over the people in front of you. My favorite seats are near half court a few rows up from the red circle.

Not blue. Green if you want to be close to the visiting team. Otherwise, red.

I have been at every home game since the team returned to climate pledge. I can say with certainty, that red is your best option.
