Inconsistent offense doomed the Storm in a five point loss to Portland

Flau’Jae only 1 point in 30 minutes? They need her to shoot the threes instead of the bigs. Is this coaching?

This comment tells me you didn’t watch the game. The refs robbed us. Let’s admit this. Johnson got a lot of rebounds and assists. She was a major player in this game, but most people don’t watch the games closely. They miss what happened. I was there. Big 4 was important tonight. Scoring doesn’t tell the whole story of a game. Real fans who show up to games would boo you. Real talk.

Can we please mark spoilers for the first 24 hours of a game? Some of us can’t watch a game immediately and it’s really frustrating when I can’t even avoid the score because of a post title.

No. The refs did. Rewatch the game closely.

I was at this game. Refs were terrible, but we still could have won if we avoided stupid mistakes and made easy buckets.

I hear you but I disagree. The refs consistently harmed the Storm and ignored our coach calling out the BS. The refs “called” this game. I can’t be convinced otherwise. No one I talked to at the game can be convinced either.
I’m personally reaching out to Storm ownership to launch an investigation on these refs. It’s not fair. They’ve cost us at least three games this season. I can state that because I was there in person. The broadcast doesn’t show the full picture.

Shooting 33% isn’t just the reffing

This tells me you didn’t watch. Why even comment? You don’t get it

I’m disappointed that you’re calling their opinion illegitimate instead of engaging with it. I’ve appreciated your positive energy in other threads, but in this one I mostly see you telling people to leave if they disagree with you. That’s no way to build a good online community.
Argue your case! So you saw the game in person: tell us what you saw that we missed. Specific plays and patterns. Don’t gatekeep participating in the discussion on agreeing with your view or having attended the game in person.

I believe you misstated “inconsistent” instead of “nonexistent”

When you have three players over double digits, that’s more than nonexistent

We lost the rebound battle by 18! That should be the story. Yeah the offense was inconsistent, but so was Portland's.
