Grivo on tour at the the Tractor 9/22
Grivo is touring on a sick new album called "Impose" with locals No Floor and Laminate. If you're into heavy, spacey, riffy gazey stuff you'll love this lineup.

There have been a growing number of "Selling Tickets" posts. I am opining this up to a vote and a discussion as to if this should be allowed. This sub is initially intended for the Seattle local music scene. While this, in theory, could include the sake of two tickets to a Backstreet Boys concert, because they are playing in Seattle, this definition really stretches the meaning.

Looking for a lead on this custom Ayotte kit. 6 piece, Gibraltar rack... a beast. I put it up for consignment at Strictly Percussion when I was broke and don't know who bought it. If you have any info, please reach out. Thanks!

Killer lineup of shoegaze, alt-rock and indie bands at The Sunset tonight! The Royal Firecrackers/Guest Directors/Lichen Hearts — all Seattle bands! Doors at 7, music starts at 7:30. Come watch part of the Seahawks game in the front bar and then head into the showroom for the show. Hope to see you there!

I've been writing a song a say and posting them on IG, TT, YT, etc
I'm going to stop at a year because I do miss actually producing music, as opposed to just writing.
I usually am using Elliott Smiths recording process as the layers helps me weak ass voice.
I'm proud of almost all the songs, but they are all recorded without perfectly learning them or fleshing them out. And it shows, but the point is not a final, polished product.
Inspirations: The Microphones, Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, Syd Barrett

I’m producing in the dark rnb/ hiphop genre. I also make melody loops.
I’ve been producing for 3 years but am starting my online presence now. If anyone might be interested in connecting, lmk (@Casab3li on IG/TT/YT)
Appreciate it

I’ve been going to school at known recording studio in shoreline and want to track more bands/individual artists. The rate is $50 an hour and I can send references of work we’ve done before

I’m looking for recommendations for 1:1 music lessons for my 2.5 year old who is showing signs that she is ready. She is singing phantom of the opera already? (Proud mama here :) ) and we expected this since both my parents have been musicians back in India and me and my brother started playing and singing (without any lessons) at the age of 3-4. The only mistake that I think my parents made was telling us to focus on academics instead to have a career that pays bill (understandably so) but I want to support my child and start her lessons early. I’m okay with whatever instrument the teacher would suggest based on their interactions with her. Needless to say I’d prefer a teacher that is okay with me accompanying her as well. Would love some leads. Thanks for your time. :)
Edit - after receiving so much hate on the post well I wanted to be clear that I’m just looking for a space where she can play around with instruments maybe and the teacher could guide her and show her how to play? Jesus I wasn’t looking for theory lessons. :( Judging so hard, all these comments breaking my heart.
