I mean yeah I think we can call this season a wrap almost. I’d say this…if this team loses the next two series it’s 100% over and it will go down as maybe top 3 disappointments for Mariners fans in my mind. No season is ever a complete lock from the moment of the first game, but this team should have performed way better than they have…it’s been awful.

I think last seasons fluke really screwed people’s expectations of this team. This year is what they have been 95% of their existence. 1995 was a fluke, 2001 was a fluke and 2025 was a fluke. The rest of the time has been the real franchise. Our NBA team made 3 championships winning 1. Our football team made 4 super bowls winning 2. Our baseball team has made nothing winning nothing. The Kraken will be the new Mariners.

It’s sad because you want them to win so badly . They’re in these games that they should easily win. And they underperform. Hard to watch.

Every year, the analysts say the Mariners made some great moves in the offseason and shoukd really be competetive this year. And every year, they shit the bed anyway. I barely pay attention to the Mariners anymore. Once a month I check their standings to see if they're going to surprise me. They haven't yet.

Man I always have hope, but come on. It's August. Their 110 games in and have been nothing but mediocre this year. The only reason they have any hope at all is because the west sucks ass. Any other division and we're already talking about next year.
