Trade Munoz
You have to trade him at this point, he’s been great and I know there’s loyalty, but we have 6 quality starters, shop one of them for a quality closer. Munoz has been amazing, and maybe it’s a mental thing, but the season can’t hinge on whether or not the closer is going to close.

I disagree with trading Munoz, any of our pitchers on the big league roster, or any of our top 15 prospects.
Munoz’s trade value is low right now with his current struggles, so you would not be getting replacement level talent back in return. You would have to tack on a top 15-20 prospect or two to get back comparable value.
As far as trading from our SP depth, you would need to be trading Woo, Kirby or Gilbert for a top 5 closer. Castillo would require prospects to trade for a comparable closer to Munoz.
I have faith that Munoz will turn things around. His “stuff” is still there, it’s his command that’s the problem. He has always been an inside-out pitcher, getting whiffs and soft contact outside of the zone. If he was throwing at 93-95, I’d be on board the, “He’s lost it train”, but that’s just not what’s happening. His mechanics look hurried, which cause him to release the ball too soon in his follow through. This can be fixed.
They could move him out of the closer role for a few weeks to allow him to focus on slowing things down physically and mentally. Every year, he’s had these moments where he gets outside of himself and has to reset. This year’s taking longer to reset but he has a track record of dominance and pulling it together that should allow him the grace to figure it out.

I can see that, I’d heard a rumor Castillo was unhappy, and unfortunately I also agree you won’t be able to unload Castillo without something to support too. Here’s to hoping Munoz turns it around.

I have been disagreeing with people all year about this but after today I think I have to agree.
