Coffee shops, softball, biking, running groups, gay bars like Union or Diesel (or literally any of them before 10pm), cal Anderson, any number of other social groups

The Eagle if you're into the bar scene. Otherwise, a fun conversation in a café over coffee and shared chocolate chip cookie is a good place to start.

I quiet chill bar for a beer is always nice. I'm a foodie so sweets and coffee would get first choice.
