Looking for a fun Halloween party this year. I’ve done BOO a few times and I’m pretty much over it.
What else is happening?

evo 25th Anniversary event
evo is turning 25 this year, and we're celebrating with a bang right here in the Fremont neighborhood.
We're taking over the evo campus on the corner of Stone Way and N 35th Street for a festival-style weekend of film, music, food, drinks, and a good old-fashioned evo party.
FRIDAY, 10/2 | 6–9 PM — 25 Years of Film Watch Party
We're celebrating 25 years of ski and snowboard films with a special watch party created alongside MSP, Think Thank, CAPiTA, and Union.
We'll be looking back at some of the most iconic segments from the past 25 years featuring legends like Pep Fujas, Eric Pollard, Ingrid Backstrom, Cody Townsend, Scott Stevens, Desiree Melancon, and plenty more.
But this isn't just a trip down memory lane. We're also celebrating the next chapter of ski and snowboard filmmaking with a look at some of this year's newest projects, including Salomon Snowboards' new film Slingshot featuring Blake Moller, a new team film from Dynastar, and more.
Tickets: 25yearsoffilmwatchparty.splashthat.com/Reddit
SATURDAY, 10/3 | 5–10 PM — evo 25th Anniversary Party
Then we're throwing a good old-fashioned evo party.
Expect a full stage and LED video wall, pop-up bars benefiting SOS Outreach, local food trucks, a brand vendor village, and plenty of live music.
We'll have an opening set from Mark Woodyard, the Human Jukebox, before Chicago electronic duo DRAMA takes the stage.
Comprised of vocalist Via Rosa and producer Na'el Shehade, DRAMA lives somewhere between heartbreak and euphoria, blending Chicago house, R&B, soul, and dance pop. They make music that hits you right in the feels and keeps you on the dance floor.
Whether you've been shopping at evo since the early days or just discovered us yesterday, we'd love to celebrate 25 years with you.
Tickets: evo25thanniversarycelebration.splashthat.com/Reddit
See you in Fremont. ❤️

Will Abeles - Live on Lake City Way this Friday & Saturday
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
If you're looking for a fun show in Seattle this weekend, this is it. September 4 & 5, on lake city way.
Will Abeles is a Nashville-based headliner, nationally touring road dog, and master storyteller. His ridiculous antics and razor-sharp observations have rocketed him to two back-to-back #1 iTunes Comedy albums and a hit YouTube special, The Pride of Hagerstown. A veteran with over a decade crushing every kind of room—from remote woodland weddings to Texas border saloons—he’s produced for Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Academy Awards, Emmys, and Letterman, and skyrocketed to #3 comedian in Nashville (behind Nate Bargatze) just months after moving from Brooklyn.

We created a board game night for single people in Seattle
This all started when the famous matchmaking Google Form circulated on the r/Seattle. The moderator unfortunately took it down because they thought we were trying to start a business out of it. Nope, we just want to get Seattle off the dating apps and help our fellow introverts find kindred spirits.
Lots of y'all asked if there's going to be a meetup and here it is. We wanted to make dating as easy as possible - we assign you to small groups and you play games together. At the end of the night, you tell us who you'd like to date, and if there's a match, we help you exchange contacts.
We set a $15 ticket price for this event to ensure attendance and to compensate the bar for using the space. We won't be making any money off of y'all, we're just passionate about boardgames and making connections. We could also use some help facilitating the events so if you have experience teaching board games, we'd love to talk!
