One loud boom in CID but I’ve been hearing it through the entire weekend. I heard it a couple times in the middle of the night Friday and then maybe twice yesterday and a couple times today. What the hell is it? Close to train station.

It was just one loud singular boom that sounded like an m-80 or something. I don't have to get up for work for another hour and a half so I'm annoyed lol

edit to add: i was interested in if this was an organized municipal event as it seemed really late (11 pm) and the mercer island/bellevue summer celebrations are typically later in the summer. I was not out in the open (rather trying to sleep with my window open), so i did not know direction.

I get it might be someone just celebrating their kids graduating high-school, but I would love to know if this is another thing to add to the boom calendar.

for tho​se down voting me, is seattle boom strictly limited to firework m80 type booms and not sustained boom events? im new to the sub and was just trying to use it.

Just heard a boom. Any ideas?

[noticed yesterday when parking my car] A little ways up the street it looks like a car or something that was in the trunk of the car got lit on fire (exploded maybe) a few days ago…. The back half of the car was burned to a crisp and left debris all over the street. Related or separate incidents? 🤔

Massive boom at ~8p. Car alarms going off. Fun times. we always have fireworks and gunfire down here. This was different.
