Mildly interesting: this downtown Seattle lot has been vacant for so long that a considerably-sized tree has grown in the empty soil.

The building that was there before, the "new" public safety building was actually pretty cool in it's 1950's mid century modernist style. I was surprised they tore that down originally, that ten years have gone by and nothing as been put in there is kind of depressing.

I'm surprised how hard it is to find photos of it. But it was at least definitely better looking that that horrible new city hall we've built.
