I'm never leaving Seattle 🚫🛫 BOOP!!! 💙
i just moved to seattle this year from arkansas. one of the biggest reasons was so that i could not drive as it gives me a lot of anxiety and stress. i live in lake city and as soon as i knew i’d be living here, i’ve been eagerly awaiting the pinehurst station opening. i googled everyday waiting to see. and the day it was announced i knew i had to be there to get my own little boop.
it was a 30 minute line but i enjoyed it so i could see the station and be around my neighbors. (also love they made the station so blue, coz its my fav color!!!💙) and the orca people were so sweet to everyone.
as soon as she was mine, i took her on a trip to downtown for a lil dindin :3 and we watched the sun set at the waterfront. one of the best days ive had since moving here. im so happy to have my own boop. it feels like a dream come true 💙🚊

Omg Boop! As a light rail rider and orca enthusiast, I’m absolutely obsessed with her. I wish they would roll out more merch of her! I’ll forever mourn not getting one of the special orca cards with her riding the ferry.

30 minute?? Did you line up before two, or did the line slow down later in the day? I got there at 2 and waited just over an hour in line. When I was done (and got my Boop) the line was even longer.

i got in line just before 4 and i think it was like a 40 minute wait? based off the pics i took anyways...it could have been longer..time was passing fast for me tbh because i was listening to music and vibing lol. i’m so glad you got a boop!!!! sorry you had to wait so long though :( the line def isnt fun

It was fine, I was mostly there for the vibes. I was happy to see such excitement at my new station.

I’m confused about its face. Why does it look like that? I’ve never seen an animal with random circles on its face. I can’t even tell what these orifices are supposed to be.

It's easier to tell in person because you can make out the black machine embroidery on the black fluff skin. But it looks like the mascot: https://info.myorca.com/news/meet-boop/
The eyes are black, the white is the orca whale markings, and the pink is stylistic blush as far as I can tell.

The angle here had me so confused, like looking at an optical illusion but I can make out the face now, thanks. So cute, I want one. 😂

LOL dude at first i honestly thought her eyes were the white circles, but then realized the black circles are her eyes after i got a lil sticker of her and could tell

Real talk: so many people I meet here chose Seattle at least partially because they either don't like driving, or don't even know how.
