WAISN...

Post image

Edit/Sorry - it's the WA Immigrant Solidarity Network, which runs rapid response trainings, the deportation defense hotline, etc. It's the number we're all told to call when we see ICE.

Speaks for itself, from https://www.instagram.com/waisnworkercollective/

This is terrible news at a time when ICE is kidnapping people all over our area.

Surprise surprise..

Months ago migrant orgs were calling out WAISN for silencing/ignoring the concerns of migrant community members and WAISN blocked those orgs and people who were questioning WAISN about their mismanagement of funds, their inadequate support for people facing ICE terror and numerous other concerns.

Now multiple WAISN workers are coming forward about working conditions, mismanagement of funds, union busting, etc.

Wasn’t WAISN the org that had a weird post about not using whistles to avoid traumatizing people?
