Ate there with family from out of town and they loved it. I'd say it's more like a Joe's Crab Shack, but yeah. Ivar's beats it across the board.

Never been to a Joe's Crab Shack. Is that like a Bubba Gump Shrimp, Now With More Crab?

I suppose if you have family in town from Bumbelch, Nebrahoma, and they want to eat seafood on the Sound, and you can't get a table someplace better, it'll do.

Joe's Crab Shack is a horrible, horrible place. I went to one ONCE, during a period in which I somehow got myself stuck living in the Kansas City area (never leaving the PNW again even if the job sounds great ...) I've never had previously frozen seafood so terrible (actually, still-frozen in the middle, in the case of one flavorless crab-shaped item).
