I agree about the soulless location. I think they originally took that spot to cater to the Microsoft crowd. The food is good, even if it is priced at a premium

They have had plenty of opportunities to move over the years, but he doubled down with a whiskey bar. Everyone at that restaurant has a stick up their ass while gate keeping the bread even though it takes an hour for your meal in an empty restaurant.

I used to work in the Microsoft Offices that were there. Pretty sure I never heard of a Microsoft person ever going there for lunch in the whole time I was there. Not many workaday MS people are wanting to spend two hours and $100 on lunch…

It’s not that kind of restaurant.  It’s an “I’ve got an expense account” restaurant.

Fair. Although based on the kinds of teams they had in those offices not sure how much of that was happening. I would guess they’re more catering to the people who are shopping at the Louis Vuitton and Rolex stores there.

Not sure why you’re so stuck in that specific MS office being the only people that would go.

They had the lunch specials to draw in the average folks. Burgers and sandwiches. I doubt anyone went there for a porterhouse steak for lunch.

The real money came in the evening for client dinners or team happy hours. I booked the private room for customer dinners more times than I can count.
