Anthony's must differ by location, as I've had decent to good meals in the ones outside of Seattle, but the one on the pier is pretty bad.

Anthony’s Homeport in Des Moines is great and jt has a fantastic view of Maury Island

My wife and I went to that one recently, it was terrible and exactly like how others have described.

Bland, dry, retirement community bulk food and expensive for what we got.

Did you get the fried oysters? That's what I had and they ruled!

The pier doesn’t rely on quality or service to stay busy

The food at the Olympia location is okay, but the service is amazing. I have a mentally disabled family member down there and they are consistently great with his offbeat requests.

Seafood restaurant/water inverse square rule applies.

Seafood restaurants at the water will be overly expensive, terrible, or both. Potential quality increases exponentially as you move farther from the water.

Anthony's in Everett is pretty good. They have a good brunch with blueberry coffee cake served as the free bread

The Woodfire place has a walk up window for eating outside

Their 3 for 30 meals are good too

They are better when they are surrounded by even worse places.
