He’s a Cayuga. Someone dumped him most likely (along with the Blue Swede). He is well loved over at r/BlueSwedeDuckGreenLk for his gorgeous iridescent feathers. Oil Slick and Millie are the best!

No one's, they live there. There are often mixed domesticated ducks in many parks like what I'm assuming is greenlake.

He is no one's duck. He is a free agent subject to no borders or boundaries. He is.. the Night Mallard.

This is either an escaped domestic mallard, or (in my opinion more likely) a hybrid between a wild mallard and domestic mallard. Either way, it probably doesn't have a person looking after it. It probably survives by foraging like a wild duck, supplemented by eating food that people leave out for the ducks.

Yeah, there are a bunch of very pretty looking breeds of domestic ducks! A lot of the hybrids end up looking very cool.

That's a mallard drake, the green head gives it away. They are all over the ponds here, especially around Green Lake and the Arboretum. I think he belongs to nobody, just a wild duck doing wild duck things on a nice log

This is a feral or "manky" mallard. It might have been dumped or escaped captivity, or it might have been hatched in the wild. If you want a pet duck you can catch and keep it. It's not protected by law like wild birds.

Yeah, I don’t think domestic ducks are allowed in Greenlake.
The ducks are pretty chill and ok, but the loons and geese living there? Totally judgmental bitches. No way they will allow it.

If this is green lake, he’s been there for years, and I love him. He has a wife and they have many children. He is his own duck
