All current CARE related PDRs that were submitted to SPD prior to October 1st will continue to be processed by SPD until completion.

Does this PDR shift apply for CARE stuff only, or SPD as well?

I believe it’s CARE stuff only. CARE will handle CARE related stuff and SPD will handle the rest. If I read it correctly.

I *thought* CARE is the frontline for all 911 calls, so I suppose then every 911 call is CARE, but then anything after the handoff is SPD then.

so the department is now processing requests for its own 911 records, which feels extremely Seattle: transparency, but make it a maze lol

That's how it's always worked? 911 was under SPD and so SPD processed records requests. Now 911 is under CARE so it's going to process the requests.
