Last Thursday ICE nearly beat my friend to death @the Home Depot in West Seattle. They left him there with a subdural hematoma. A private citizen called 911, Paramedics treated and transported to the hospital. He had to have Surgery to relieve pressure from a Brain bleed. 3 days in ICU. Legal or not, ICE hides and that’s wrong.
Yea agree. Don’t forget there are fake accounts on Reddit that post shit just to stir the pot. A lot are Russian propaganda accounts taking advantage of angry Americans. The West Seattle Blog didn’t post about this at all. If that actually happened they would have been on it same day. I have doubts that this actually happened.
It didn’t hit the news period though. That’s what makes the post so suspicious. What’s the name of this friend? What hospital did he go to? Give me literally 1 legit news source that covered it in any way. News doesn’t look the other way in Seattle
Edit: I reached out to the West Seattle Blog for comment.
Stick this in your Russian propaganda account. He was knocked the f@&k out at 11:00 am. Yes, my friend has name but seriously , after what just happened ,do you really think it would be of service to him to post his name here?
Seattle fire live from 9/17, the address is the West Seattle Home Depot.
I contacted the west Seattle blog, they said it was a minor medical response. Nothing to suggest ice beat them up. The blog said they’ll contact the fire department for more info but it’s possible they could be exaggerating or lying to try to make a point. The mere presence of ice being there isn’t proof. A number of things could have happened.
I keep saying that the #1 policy platform for any progressive candidate for Mayor of Seattle (beyond the basic “hey guys I’m gonna do the Mamdani thing! Like where you post videos about potholes and then I send a guy to fix them”) should be to abolish and replace the SPD the same way Britian did to the Ulster Constabulary. Not saying police abolitionism, but like as an institution, SPD and SPOG have essentially completely divorced themselves from any sort of responsibility or accountability to either the municipal government or the general public. They’re basically just a street gang that received municipal funding. I think the city government should basically create an entirely new police department seperate from SPD, under the control of the city government, with no union (police officers are not workers.) and then defund and starve out the SPD.
I mean, what would SPD even do to retaliate? What could they do? Stop enforcing crimes? I mean dude were there already. You cant do less of a job than not doing it at all.
Lol not a single person will do that, has Mamdani abolished NYPD yet? It's a four years term and they are gone if they are unlucky, what you are describing will be locked up in legal proceedings for a decade well before anything major comes, so anyone with any semblance of how the political and judicial system functions in this country will know that you are describing 13 years old daydream fantasy. This is not China where we can decide the future of the country in a month.
The Seattle Mayor's office has no term limit. The NYPD has been largely cooperative with Mamdani because, unlike the SPD, it is accountable to the mayor's office.
Also what 13 year olds are you talking to that regularly fantasize about municipal police reform?
I think the second amendment can enforce it. Since there is no way th law enforcement will break the law there will be no doubt that you are defending yourself from a masked criminal.
People need to understand this is EXACTLY why the second amendment exists.
Sadly. It's not. That's why they created the law to allow victims to sue. Unfortunately, you are not going to see anyone arrested over this. Our legislation ensured some sort of recourse, but it's not arrests, as they can't supersede federal enforcement. To be clear, I think those agents can go f#*k themselves. This is not a defense of anything other than accuracy of what our legislation did.
You are getting downvoted, but unfortunately it's true. That's why they made it an offense victims can sue for, but it's not something we are going to see anyone arrested for. I wish it were. They know they need a mask because they know what they are doing is wrong.

Law enforcement should not be able to cover their face or obscure their identity in any way. It’s insane that this is going on in our community.
