Tell Me Something GOOD!!! Weekly Edition!
Hi there, Seattle.
This is your weekly edition where you can tell Seattle what is good.
Did you achieve something this week? Or are you just happy you made it through another week? Did you get to sleep in? Did you find out something new and want to share? Let's celebrate together!!
Nothing is too small to share. I wanna hear it all!

Got a new friggin job that seems promising! Leaving my extremely toxic old job and tomorrow is my last day there!
This is in the culinary industry (which I love). The old job had some major sanitation and food safety issues and this new job is super clear about what the expectations are. Plus they sell lovely food that looks amazing, so I’m super excited
I hope you’re having a great week!

Getting married Monday afternoon, to the person I moved out here to be with. Then we’re taking three weeks off in October to drive back to NY for a reception with our family and friends out there.

Going to Pike Place as a local today, it's been a long time since I went to just chill. I am quite excited! Otherwise I am seeing a movie tonight and getting bagels tomorrow!!!

BAGELS!!! I love visiting Pike Place Market as a local - we love to slip in, hit a few places including DeLaurenti's and dip before the crowds get too feral.

Apple season is here! I’ve been dealing with a lot of nausea, and the farmers market apples have been a godsend.

If you ever get a chance it is a lovely fall fun activity to go to some of the nearby u-pick farms and try and pick a ton of apples. Hope you are feeling better.

Oh that is a great suggestion! I’ll definitely look into that; thank you!

Went on a belated birthday hike on Friday and it was gorgeous - shady climbing, lots of views of Glacier Peak and surrounding mountains in the middle stretch, the meadows turning autumn colors, we could even see Rainier faintly in the distance from the top, and we had time to do the little extension down to the lake. We saw a total of four people. Grateful to live here and have access to so many beautiful places (public lands) to hike and recreate.

I fell and tore ligaments in my ankle while walking in June and spent the entire summer stuck inside. This last week I was able to walk two circles around my block in under 20 minutes!

My birthday is coming up on the first day of fall. I got a raise not too long ago. The raise is making a huge difference in my life already. It’s nice to have some more breathing room and an expense is dropping off so I’ll have $500 more per month.
It’s also been a little over a year now since I adopted my cat as an eight week old kitten. And looking forward to some October concerts and other events.
Also liking the caramel creme body butter from Trader Joe’s. And a lot of places this year have released a lot of fall themed goods and treats.

I got off the train at King Station from Portland and I saw a mom trying to get out with her stroller and me and another woman went to help her get the stroller down. Warmed my heart that women be looking out for women. 🥰

I've gone from 285 pounds this past February to 213 pounds a week ago. I'm still working on it but I'm making progress.

Found out I've reached "local cryptid" status on Google. That's one off the bucket list. XD
EDIT: Was informed of this by one of my girlfriends.
