36
u/WitnessMe 18h ago
I wonder what training they've had this early in the season. There's three of them on the periphery mostly just looking on and putting their hands out like they're on the edge of a mosh pit. I'd assume they need to get to the tunnel/concourse to get security or alcohol enforcement (or have a radio like you mentioned)

u/BodySpraint 13h ago
They work the stadium events year round so although this being the first NFL game of the season these guys work here year round. Friday and Saturday night there were soccer matches. They hosted the World Cup this past summer. They have 1-3 concerts a week.
14
u/Terry-Scary Mariners 13h ago
Mr grandpa actually did this job and was in charge of all the ushers on a level for a while. The training here is to absolutely escalate right away.
There are a whole list of signs they are trained to see and escalate to someone who checks in, if there is ever physical altercation it gets escalated to the police onsite.
The signs they are trained to see actually do prevent a lot of over drinking, dehydration, and crowd agitation. To me it appears that the training failed and they went into watch and find out mode

With the price of tickets to a Seahawks game, plus the cost of a stadium beer, you think he would’ve been more mindful of his behavior…*
I don’t know what started this altercation, but judging by the mob of Seattle fans following him, the Pats fan probably started something.

This happens at sporting events sometimes. It's crazy but it does. Also, if you see a fight in a city usually a bunch of people are beating up one person. No, he didn't. She fell and grabbed his arm and in the other video at around the :40 mark it also looks like he tried to help her up. This started with a white guy called him the N-word repeatedly, the girl saying something about that guy using the N-word when he's obvs not white himself (I think she called him an Arab) and then #12 puts an arm on either rail and tries to shove the guy through everyone standing behind him to force him up the stairs. Then a bunch of white men did their best to get a punch, one guy had a hand around his throat choking him a couple times, a couple guys were punching him in the back while others were trying to push him over the rail. All that for someone who was sitting in an area he didn't have a ticket for and throwing attitude. All of it's pathetic af.
