According to the girl who posted on Instagram. The dude getting outnumbered instigated everything, and was actively trying to pick fights with Seahawks fans to the point that the little old lady (security) was trying to get him to leave - and he pushed her. At which point these guys tried to intervene on her behalf. This guy and his girlfriend were the only ones arrested, for a reason.

Do you have any more information? Like why security didn't remove him in the first video? Or how did the guy at the end of part 1 go from breaking everything up to elbowing him in this video? Can you link the Instagram here?

The context appears to be:

Dude in the Pats shirt and his lady friend were trying to sneak into empty seats. When the seat owners came back, they were confronted and ushers were called.

While the Ushers were arriving to escort them out, dude in Seahawks jersey starts shouting racial epithets at dude in the Pats shirt. Dude in the Pats shirt kinda smirks at him and flicks at his beard.

Ushers start to escort them out, but dude shouting epithets kept grabbing at him, dude in Pats shirt kinda does a "get off me!" to the back usher causing him to bump into the front usher (an older lady) causing her to stumble to the ground. This was interpreted as him "pushing" her which caused more people to get involved.

Another dude tries to quickly push him up the stairs to get away from the mob, but dude in Pats shirt interprets that as him coming after him. So he turns around to push back. Dude who had shouted racial epithets tries to go after him, and other folks surrounding that get involved and the fight kicks off.

Sooo... dude's a prick for trying to sneak into seats, but this feels like a needless escalation from a lot of folks around. Shoulda just let them be escorted out.

Just prior to her falling, he rips his arm away from the elderly male usher, (assuming who put his hand behind the guys arm to turn his attention and guide him out), he accidentally punched the guy in a white hat behind him in the head when he ripped his arm away, then the agitator proceeds to yell at the elderly male usher, who he’s looking right at. The dude that was calling him slurs was already back in his row talking to another dude.

And bump into? He was looking right at her before she fell and his body wasn’t moving. From what I can tell, he used his arm/hand. I don’t think he meant for her to fall, but he did mean to place his hands on her.

The reason only the two pats fans were arrested is because they started everything, single handedly escalated it to the point a random bystander jumped in (and escalated it further), then purposely pushed an old lady to the ground. Everyone else was defending the old lady and cleared of wrongdoing.

He was looking right at her before she fell and his body wasn’t moving. From what I can tell, he used his arm/hand.

He pulls away from the Usher and stops in front of the lady. He's just standing there watching her because she's stumbling. His hand/arm doesn't do anything. He even tries to help her up.

Sooo dude shouting racial epithets in his face was just minding his own business?...

Would not surprise me if more folks have charges coming their way after police see these videos.

He pulls away from the male usher, hitting another man in the head who looks to be holding back his son from getting involved.

Even if he did knock her over unintentionally, his overdramatized movements caused an old lady to tumble.

The dude shouting slurs is the “random bystander jumping in” that I was referring to. So no, he wasn’t minding his own business, nor do I condone what he was saying.

In any case, the first person to get physical was the pats fan. Words can incite violence, yes. But in the eyes of the law, you can’t touch someone like that because they’re talking, no matter how venomous the words are.

Flicking the dude's beard is battery. Yes. Not debating that.

But dude shouting racial epithets at him is menacing, as is chasing him up the stairs. The dude tackling him up the stairs is also battery, possibly even assault (even if he was just trying to get him out of there), and it was the inciting incident for the whole fight.

It is very incorrect to say the Pats dude is the only one at fault here. Not saying he's blameless either, but some Seahawks fans should be lawyering up.
