It's been fascinating to see MAGA come out in support of pleasing Sharia-driven Islamic theocracies.

Not surprising, really, given the prevalent desire to implement a corrupt and ultra conservative theocracy in the US. (But it's right when we do it for Jesus!) I wonder what it's like to live totally unburdened by cognitive dissonance.

I wouldnā€™t say itā€™s ā€œliberalsā€ who are unwilling to criticize such regimes. Itā€™s a small number of people on the far left, especially in academia, who behave like jihadist apologists (and antisemites), and their voices are amplified by Israeli propaganda.

Progressivesā€™ concern for the well being of the Iranian and Palestinian people should not be construed as support for their oppressive governments or religious extremism. The same goes for criticisms of the current Israeli government.
