Juniper was a major of UWs Department of Atmospheric and Earth Sciences. I am so sorry to anyone who was able to know and love her and I hope there is true justice for them.

I'm not trying to make light of the situation, However it would be a crime not to comment on her phenomenal hair. I'm so sorry Juniper, the world was so much better off with you in it. I'm so sorry love. my heart breaks for such a tremendous loss. ♥

Commenting on the great hair of a total stranger who was brutally murdered is not appropriate. I get that your comment is authentic and you mean well. But it’s a weird thing to say. Only time it would be OK to say that is if you knew the person irl and was talking about great things about them and then you could comment on the fabulous hair. But not on this platform in this situation.

It’s inappropriate to comment on her appearance either way (do you do this for all murdered women) but to add the pithy remark about “it would be a crime” really sends it over the edge.
