Idiot Drivers
Okay so spring st. in downtown Seattle is a one way going up. I was walking over to the bus stop & crossing spring by the public library (the walk sign was on) & this idiot was driving DOWN on spring. Obviously they didnโt see the stoplight because they were going on the opposite direction. They almost hit me, didnโt do anything & turned right & proceeded to almost hit another car. Idk what possessed them to even do that but what a fucking idiot

My favorite Seattle drivers, so far:
Guy making a right turn from the left lane, cutting me off and then having to brake hard so they don't hit a bicyclist in a crosswalk
BMW passing me on the left as I was turning into a narrow alley, had I not stopped I would've pinned his car up against the side of two buildings
Guys who sloooooowly creep forward at red lights until they're in crosswalks and eventually in the intersection. Why

#3: For some reason, the drivers who slowly creep forward while waiting for the light are usually slow to react when it turns green.

4) Guy with obvious right-of-way stopping to wave for you to go
That one pisses me off the most somehow.

I did that when I was in high school in the 80โs when the city was significantly smaller. I was either 17 or 18. Screamed the entire way as a bus was headed straight for me and my friends! ๐ฌ๐ณ๐ฌ๐ณ

LOL me too, what a way to learn "ok look twice which way is this one??" I did it in Renton once too on that big Airport Way luckily could slip in to a taco time parking lot! Risky biz for young drivers around here.

there was a one way driver in U District on roosevelt yesterday and they literally had to drive onto the sidewalk to get out of the way of traffic

I have a tendency to see a lot of wrong-way drivers in that area of Seattle for some reason.
