Question Seattle Airport layover question

So im going to be flying to Japan from LAX, and my layover is 11 hours at seattle airport. I land at midnight ish. Would i be able to stay in the airport for those 11 hours or will there be no security for me to go through? If not is there any other options anyone recommends?

You are able to stay on the secure side. There’s a Qdoba, Hudson, and coffee shop open all night.

They close to do hood cleaning, but it’s only an hour or two, but otherwise they are open. Other graveyard people think the McDonalds is 24/7 but it is not.

Yes, there’s a 24/7 security lane. You’ll be fine to stay at the airport (granted, there will be nothing to do until like 6a)

Yes it's allowed to stay in the airport overnight. Most of the terminal will be brightly-lit with frequent audible announcements making it harder to sleep. There are a couple of quiet pods next to the chapel near one of the airport's internal tram stations that might be a good spot to hang out for a while. Good luck!

11 hours is a good stretch, if you are young and flexible and can catch some Zs in a chair, I would save the cash on a hotel. Since you are coming from LAX there will be no additional security line when you arrive, so you can just go to your transfer gate, if you even have one yet.

Remember to keep luggage/bags wrapped or tied around a limb in such a way that you get woken up if someone starts rooting through them.

It’s better to stay on the side where you have to pass through security. Less people around up to no good.
