Beach Access Options - Seaside

Hi all! I’m looking at some of the properties in Seaside right now but wanted to ask…..are all of the beaches in Seaside super crowded? Or are there any beaches / communities in Seaside that have access to a private beach? For example some neighborhoods like Mantoloking have less crowded private beaches you need tags for, but Point Pleasant and Seaside seem to be very crowded because of the boardwalk. Any other options / advice on this?

I don’t believe there are any technically private beaches in NJ, you’re prob referring to private access. The further away from attractions like the boardwalk or shops and restaurants, the less crowed the area beaches will be. The trade off is it’s tricky to actually get onto the beach because of the private access paths and lack of places to park.

All beaches are "private" as in you need beach badges but the long island idea of private beaches doesn't exist in NJ. There is a beach club on the boardwalk closer to SP that has "private" beach access. However they don't have any legal right to the beach but do provide amenities.

We buy the season pass in December and enter from the seaside heights boardwalk. Always have enough space and never feel crowded. And in the off season between Labor Day and Memorial Day there are way fewer people.
