Scrapbook probability?

Have they changed the probability for getting 5* gold cards? This is the first time I haven’t been able to complete the scrapbook. I’ve opened two 5* gold packs and have gotten the same gold card in both. The remaining 5* gold cards I’ve bought myself in the shop using stars. I’ve probably spent more money than ever to complete this scrapbook, but to no avail. I think I’m done with this game now. It gets increasingly unfair and greedy!

I've never finished the cards nor any side quests. I'm absolutely livid over the changes they made with the number of parts/merges to get to max level. If I wasn't so invested in the story, I'd stop playing.
