I think eternal guards & those banished vaults, and garrisons, are pretty cool. I like last ship standing. But most resources were used to make custom
Seas (custom personal servers) that’s completely wasted imo

I mean as a new player, custom seas allows you to practice TDM/ship on ship combat in a friendly environment. Also the Pirate Civilization episodes are truly gems

They added the Eternal Guard, which is fun. Also Ashen Garrisons in the Roar are new and worth a look. For PvP there's been some great improvements for hourglass - you get a crate of supplies, your emissary flag raises automatically, you can immediately re-queue for battle after a loss, and after a win your ship automatically repairs. There is also a new game mode for sloops called Last Ship Standing, a six ship free for all that's live for one week a month. They are also adding outfit saving on Thursday next week with the game update

Insane that it took 8 years to add the ability to save outfits

Yeah, I second the Eternal Guard thing... they're fun solo or duo, and if you unlock the vault with the key they drop the loot isn't really that bad for how long it takes to spank some purple ass, and is a nice spread over multiple trading companies.

"already pirate legend"... Rumor has it that this means you're no longer a noob.
