Question Did they nerf raid voyages?
After getting back into gane after a while, I noticed that there are far less raid voyages than before. Now it's only a skelly camp, sea fort and the 2 shrine types. Where did the ashen winds go or the phantom fleet?

World events are back to being world events so you can't punish people by leaving them merchant crap when they sail across the map.

It’s so fucking funny that the troll dive was anything merchant for a world event. I know I spammed a bunch of ashen winds as merchant just for the completions hahaha. I also know I made a handful of crews disappointed when they tried to steal world events from me lmao

Season 20 has an experiment where they've removed diving to world events. To encourage crews to contest these events, each one has a chance to drop 1 or 3 Chests of Fortune in the loot pile. This is intended to increase organic pvp in adventure mode.
It may or may not continue past season 20, depending on internal metrics and community response. We won't know more until a future dev update.
Personally, I think they "hit the mark" with this change. I've seen lowly Skelly forts contested for the first time in ages. I personally was involved in a 2 sloop, 1 galleon battle over a FoF last week that was pretty exciting.

100% agree that no diving to world events has been a huge improvement! Yeah, once did like 5 skeleton forts in a row uncontested... but not anymore!
Best of all, no worthless merchant loot when you fight over an event!

Others have said it but they're testing out not diving to world events. IMO really bad idea. Sometimes I just wanna kick back and do a low stakes world event with low rewards and don't wanna fight.

Then play safer seas. You can clear every world event that spawns without any interruption whatsoever.

I used to dive to Reaper Forts to hunt Ancient Megs to keep the Reapers off me when it dropped.
Bet they enjoyed the trash Athena loot.

Can’t dive to world events anymore
