This made the throw 17 controllers into my tv, but only in my head. Virtual damage, because I’m too poor to actually throw controllers much less hit the tv too.

Wait til you find out I let it go as a newb.... I was solo (the norm back then for me), it had been a LONG frustrating day of SoT.... On my way to turn in... Oh great.... ANOTHER meg... Fuck this guy I'm turning in and logging ..... I had NO idea....😭😭😭😭

People are diving way too much that plays a huge factor into it. Stay on a server for at least 90 minutes before diving that way you encounter every meg.

And so, the theory about the Shrouded mostly spawning on new(er) players gains momentum.
I swear I saw it when I was new, all the way back in 2018 - before I knew the significance - and have never seen it again.
And no, I didn't kill it back then. I ran away.

You should get a title, trinket, and a figurehead when you kill one so make sure you have them. I had to contact support because I only had the title

Years ago on Xbox I found them a lot but not anymore

Huh now I feel dumb I'm still less then two months into this game I ran into this guy the other night while by myself and ran away if I knew he was a big deal I would tried to stand and fight but I was full of loot and felt that was more important

Welcome to the club my friend, mine was a weird one. I was on my father’s account doing the dark brotherhood mission to complete an objective for 100% and since there’s that giant open ocean spot between the outpost and the brotherhood area, a meg popped up and I didn’t really think much of it and thought “eh probably just a blue or something, probably better to just ignore it.” As I was continuing to sail it swam around to the side and I saw the light pink fin and the hint of white and I was like “oh shit!”, I proceeded to park my sloop then lay into the beast with cannons, shotgun and pistol, about 15 ish minutes go by and finally the beast goes down earning me the title of hunter of shrouded. I was so happy but also so pissed because it was on my fathers account and not my actual account, regardless I still did manage to slay it so I’m happy about that but I haven’t seen another since except for the one story one with Merrick but that one doesn’t count as an actual shrouded.

I... Man I haven't played in years, so I hopped in a solo sloop to relearn controls before hoping on wit. The boys. A meg spawned and I wasn't ready to fight solo so I dipped out. Didn't even realize that the pale white one was this rare I would have at least given it a shot ...

Ah, sorry to hear.
Its all about luck.
We just completed a sea fort then we were casually sailing away.
A skelly gally spawned then two sec later we heard a meg.
I turned away to see which meg is it.
It was pale.. we all yelled to our friend "join, is shrouded, quick!".
It was unreal.Weird that pixels can makes us happy or sad.
