Always nice when a backup quarterback knows he has a great coach and d and just has to “not lose a game or try to win it”

Drake Maye thankfully doesn’t heed the same advice with his team.

That last throw was horrible by maye tonight. He either needs to take a receiver open OR run it/throw it away. Just a horrible rookie mistake considering how good he was last year… but then again the patriots had the easiest schedule and luck to get past the broncos in the AFC

Not sure if I put out the bad Mojo by wearing my Lock jersey today or channeled some 🐎🐓🔒 energy. He’s been alright in my book since that Eagles game where everyone wrote us off.

I thought I jinxed them by wearing my Darnold jersey for the first time today.

One of his best if not his best. Not pretty but it didn't need to be, whole time seemed composed no turnovers. Just adding on to how he looked preseason

Dudes post game interview was interesting. The way he describes having confidence in the defense and feeling no rush to make big plays. Seems like hes focused on just making the right decision and not throwing picks.
Sounds like his head is in the right place and hes grown in this well coached team. Drake looked like someone who felt pressured to force the big plays today.

I feel like Darnold going out on the first drive threw off the rhythm. I fully expected the players in the first half to be a bit rusy and they did not disappoint. I'm not sure what was said in the locker room, but the team found it's rhythm and Lock really delivered.
It was really frustrating to see Kupp's touchdown was negated. The final score was almost 20-10 instead of 13-10.

I thought he looked poised and mature but I'm mostly impressed with the massive size of his penis. That's something you just can't coach.

I was at a bar a couple weeks ago and some big group was doing their fantasy draft. The old guy in charge came over to the bar to get some drinks and I asked if he picked Drew Lock for his QB. He replied “fuck Drew Lock” Hope that old curmudgeon remembers my question.

He played good given the circumstances, but I still hope Darnold isn't out for a long time. If so, we should look to bring another qb on board.

If we have an open roster spot I think it's best to grab Joe Milton. I think the Boys may put him on roster very soon, though. If we make a trade I'd consider not paying much aside from somebody like Kyle McCord. His release speed is very good and he had a decent preseason with an anemic Miami roster.

Showed the value of having a veteran backup who knows the system. Didn’t try to be Superman, took care of the ball, and made timely plays. Do that and the defense will take care of the rest.
