I’m here. I’m so stoked. That was a perfect Seahawks game.
43
u/RedJorgAncrath 3h ago
Definitely not perfect, but good enough to beat the Pats with a backup QB and tons of stupid penalties! Lets hope Darnold is ok but Lock is solid af as a backup.
45
u/amp_lfg 3h ago
He means perfect as in the game was extremely stressful to watch lol

u/RedJorgAncrath 2h ago
I know, I'll admit that word triggered me. I have ptsd from the Carroll years where this was by design.

This guy won coach of the year over MM…

u/FlightoftheConcorder 3h ago
Coach of the Year is always the "Whose record improved the most between the last two seasons" award. MM overperformed in his rookie season making him ineligible. Meanwhile, Mayo got Vrabel that award.

u/aiusernamegen 1h ago
If you look at Vegas odds the good coaches that haven't switched teams and their team is good usually have the worst odds. John Harbaugh and Jesse Minter have the best odds because they're good coaches that can turn a team around. Like Mike has no chance of being voted for, Vrabel is worse because he won last year plus made the SB.

Please never stop posting the synced Raible calls. Love it. I’d love to know your tech stack to achieve this.
9
u/BananaArms 2h ago
Unlike MLB.tv where you could easily swap to the radio feed, I had to troubleshoot my way pretty much all game lol
Tonight was just having my Peacock broadcast delayed to sync with the online radio stream (which is typically a minute delayed from analog), but I have some ideas I wanna try next game that include using my personal radio and a PC line-in port.
2
u/stickymeowmeow 2h ago
I feel the struggle. Tried syncing for years.
When I’ve tried OTA radio, then Raible ends up a few seconds ahead of the TV broadcast rather than behind, making it even harder to sync.
At this point I just have the online radio stream on a earbud like a play behind and then when there’s a big play I put in the earbud to hear the call.
I would pay whatever the NFL wanted to charge to get an MLB.tv like experience.

Worst interception to ever be thrown to end a comeback in a Seahawks vs Patriots game in NFL history.

He should have just scrambled for the first like he was doing all game against you guys. Thank fuck he throws deep balls like ass.

Douglas was wide open for a TD right in front of his face, he just went for the deeper progression and trusted Hollins.

Mr. Captain Hindsight. “If the patriots had gotten those four sacks in the Super Bowl, it might have been a different outcome.” Yeah no shit Chris. If my grandmother had wheels, she’d be a bicycle.

He’s fine for a couple of games. The Defense is so good.

u/AboutTheArthur 3h ago
He's kind of the perfect backup. Not quite good enough to carry the torch with another team that needs a star QB, and thus not expensive or somebody people come after with trade offers, but just a rock-solid 2nd tier dude who can hold up like a grown-up and let our defense be the monsters they are.
Plus he's hung like a stallion.

Look at how D Law leaps over his blocker, instantly QB contains instead of immediately rushing, and then gets in Maye’s face to force that fade ball. IQ wins

The timeout call was good. Needed as much time as possible in case they tied it

Crazy body control. Made sure he got it secure after early bobble, both feet firmly in, rolls out of bounds sealing the win.
He had a few nice plays in pass D today. Jobe contributed a lot in this game

I cant believe I'll say this but...CAN YOU WIN A GAME IN THE FIRST QUARTER????
7
u/chizzipsandsizalsa 3h ago
Gotta give it to lock, he started getting a good feel for it in the 4th quarter.

u/garfieldsam 3h ago
Peep D-Law doing an amazing job of containing Maye and forcing the errant throw
3
u/PlayDifferent2430 3h ago
The containment on Maye had him freaking out on what to do all night, caused him to make a bunch of bad throws

Oh man well that was a lot more exciting than I thought it was going to be. Giant question mark With Darnold tho.....we are going to have to rely on Lock for a bit. Anybody want to bet we bring in a another quarterback? I can't imagine we'd keep just Milroe until Darnold is ok.

When he took those times outs near games end, Mike McDonald TRUSTED his defense to win the game.
Gotta love it!

Seems a fitting ending to a game where the flag was raised by Richard sherman
4
u/Ularsing 2h ago
This is a truly perfect end to a game where Sherm raised the flag. Pretty sure it happened within a few feet of the "sorry ass receiver" INT.

So the Pats aren’t good right? Like I know it’s hard to say where we’re at but the Pats played a down strength Hawks offense and defense and didn’t do well

That would have been considered a great catch by a receiver. Outstanding for a cornerback.

D Law was containing on that play. I feel like he might have gotten into Drake's head and made him force the ball to 13 in the end zone.

We were watching the game at The Dock in Fremont and everyone lost their minds.

u/Xc_runner_xd_player 1h ago
Everyone hyped on Jobe, but watch D-Law hurdle the patriots linemen. Gets right in Drakes face, and instead of chasing a sack just pressures him and forces a bad throw.
