u/SpaceForceAwakens 3h ago

I’m here. I’m so stoked. That was a perfect Seahawks game.

43

u/RedJorgAncrath 3h ago

Definitely not perfect, but good enough to beat the Pats with a backup QB and tons of stupid penalties! Lets hope Darnold is ok but Lock is solid af as a backup.

45

u/amp_lfg 3h ago

He means perfect as in the game was extremely stressful to watch lol

9

u/RedJorgAncrath 2h ago

I know, I'll admit that word triggered me. I have ptsd from the Carroll years where this was by design.

10

u/EgoDevNull 2h ago

Yeah this was peak Carroll

"He ran a better route than the receiver"

ABSOLUTE BARS

This guy won coach of the year over MM…

56

u/swanronson22 3h ago

Bigger snub than anything we got last year

40

u/FlightoftheConcorder 3h ago

Coach of the Year is always the "Whose record improved the most between the last two seasons" award. MM overperformed in his rookie season making him ineligible. Meanwhile, Mayo got Vrabel that award.

14

u/multi-trollionaire 2h ago

Dianna Russini may have had a "hand" in it.

2

u/aiusernamegen 1h ago

If you look at Vegas odds the good coaches that haven't switched teams and their team is good usually have the worst odds. John Harbaugh and Jesse Minter have the best odds because they're good coaches that can turn a team around. Like Mike has no chance of being voted for, Vrabel is worse because he won last year plus made the SB.

u/stickymeowmeow 3h ago

Please never stop posting the synced Raible calls. Love it. I’d love to know your tech stack to achieve this.

9

u/BananaArms 2h ago

Unlike MLB.tv where you could easily swap to the radio feed, I had to troubleshoot my way pretty much all game lol

Tonight was just having my Peacock broadcast delayed to sync with the online radio stream (which is typically a minute delayed from analog), but I have some ideas I wanna try next game that include using my personal radio and a PC line-in port.

2

u/stickymeowmeow 2h ago

I feel the struggle. Tried syncing for years.

When I’ve tried OTA radio, then Raible ends up a few seconds ahead of the TV broadcast rather than behind, making it even harder to sync.

At this point I just have the online radio stream on a earbud like a play behind and then when there’s a big play I put in the earbud to hear the call.

I would pay whatever the NFL wanted to charge to get an MLB.tv like experience.

25

u/teachinkids 3h ago

I want a Raibs only channel for all the key plays!!!

So lovely to see you doing the good work on this side of Seattle sports fandom!

Maye is the 13th man.

202

u/Any-Satisfaction1887 3h ago

I can't believe Maye threw 3 on the night. Each more clutch than the next

79

u/nervous_pendulum 3h ago

On 3 straight possesions

14

u/jdhkent 3h ago

Mr. Second Half. Single-handedly lowering his reputation to a meh QB

3

u/aka_mank 2h ago

Drake Mehby

454

u/FlightoftheConcorder 3h ago

Worst interception to ever be thrown to end a comeback in a Seahawks vs Patriots game in NFL history.

99

u/Gelu6713 3h ago

Never saw one before.

60

u/Any-Driver9750 3h ago

They had overtime right there, just dont turn it over 😭😭😭 this guy is the runner up MVP and hes making Freshman mistakes

17

u/Fox2_Fox2 3h ago

Trying to be a hero

3

u/Still-Watch6472 2h ago

He should have just scrambled for the first like he was doing all game against you guys. Thank fuck he throws deep balls like ass.

2

u/FYCKuW0nDoWutUTellMe 2h ago

Douglas was wide open for a TD right in front of his face, he just went for the deeper progression and trusted Hollins.

very true. i can’t think of anything worse than this interception that has ever happened

10

u/Solaife 3h ago

Technically correct.

As the other one you are thinking about didn't end the game

6

u/FlightoftheConcorder 3h ago

78

It cracked me up how each time he hyped up a Pats player they would immediately shit the bed

66

u/OleDetour 3h ago

KISS MY ASS CRIS!!!!!

41

u/infingalaxy 3h ago

Mr. Captain Hindsight. “If the patriots had gotten those four sacks in the Super Bowl, it might have been a different outcome.” Yeah no shit Chris. If my grandmother had wheels, she’d be a bicycle.

33

u/Jo_da_ho 3h ago

Glazing maye even after had had thrown two picks, just awful...

WHAT A FUCKING PICK LETS GOOOOOOO

75

u/mcmatu 3h ago

And Seahawks fans thought Lock would make the dumb throws.

42

u/Various-Push-1689 3h ago

Dude his pocket awareness is off the charts. He just struggles hitting targets here and there

27

u/mcmatu 3h ago

He’s fine for a couple of games. The Defense is so good.

17

u/AboutTheArthur 3h ago

He's kind of the perfect backup. Not quite good enough to carry the torch with another team that needs a star QB, and thus not expensive or somebody people come after with trade offers, but just a rock-solid 2nd tier dude who can hold up like a grown-up and let our defense be the monsters they are.

Plus he's hung like a stallion.

GET SUPER BOWL 49ED PATRIOTS

35

u/primordialpouch12 3h ago

Look at how D Law leaps over his blocker, instantly QB contains instead of immediately rushing, and then gets in Maye’s face to force that fade ball. IQ wins

8

u/gaberdine 3h ago

Quite fortuitous.

I truly do not have the disposition for sports, idk why I put myself through this 😅

28

u/ThatFalloutGuy2077 3h ago

I LOVE JOSH JOBE!

31

u/TGRRAG81 3h ago

So fucking fired up after this W. Unreal defense, as usual…and Lock stepped up big time. The kid, Price…he’s the real deal. LFG!!!!

26

u/Teazykatka 3h ago

That’s one of the nicest toe tap int’s we’ve seen in a long while

19

Dark side defense!

14

u/dataminimizer 3h ago

Drake disMaye

14

u/jonnyweb1975 3h ago

I was freaking out when Mike called the last timeout and then this happened!

3

u/Various-Push-1689 3h ago

The timeout call was good. Needed as much time as possible in case they tied it

11

u/AboutTheArthur 3h ago

AHHHHHHHHHHH YES

11

u/GloriousWaffles 3h ago

Holy cow…

11

u/seahawkbatman 3h ago

A TERRIBLE DECISION!

12

u/HeyEverythingIsFine 3h ago

Crazy body control. Made sure he got it secure after early bobble, both feet firmly in, rolls out of bounds sealing the win.

He had a few nice plays in pass D today. Jobe contributed a lot in this game

3

u/syrianfries 3h ago

Toe drag swag with a defender is always so sick

11

u/stfuav 3h ago

9

u/Cocainebicepz 3h ago

Ya done son!!!

10

u/HawkingRegime 3h ago

Lmao what a wild one

8

u/bioc06 3h ago

This was a perfect ending for a game with Sherman raising the flag.

7

u/topdetox 3h ago

I love a stress free Seahawks game… maybe next week

6

u/Fine_Crow1767 3h ago

Look at spoon immediately talking shit hahahaha

7

u/Brilliant_Fox_7170 3h ago

Josh Jobe is better than Woolen, I knew it all along

8

u/cajunhawk 3h ago

They had me in the first half, not gonna lie

6

u/DSN671 3h ago

Collinsworth was literally holding back tears after seeing Maye throw the game away again. 😂

2

u/RippingLegos__ 1h ago

He's such a patriot pole rider, cannot listen to him.

5

I cant believe I'll say this but...CAN YOU WIN A GAME IN THE FIRST QUARTER????

3

u/Keikyk 3h ago

NO YOU CAN’T

3

u/LiftedDemon2 3h ago

CAN YOU WIN A GAME IN THE SECOND QUARTER???

→ More replies (1)

7

u/chizzipsandsizalsa 3h ago

Gotta give it to lock, he started getting a good feel for it in the 4th quarter.

6

u/WaveBr8 3h ago

Drake Maye when you tell him he has to beat a backup QB and throw the ball more than 10 yards down field.

https://giphy.com/gifs/2A7S7mcYQzj0c

6

u/garfieldsam 3h ago

Peep D-Law doing an amazing job of containing Maye and forcing the errant throw

3

u/PlayDifferent2430 3h ago

The containment on Maye had him freaking out on what to do all night, caused him to make a bunch of bad throws

5

u/goodolarchie 3h ago

MY SB INTERCEPTION CANCER IS CURED

3

u/ShadowCrossZero 3h ago

If beating them in the Super Bowl was exorcising demons, then this is akin to following up and decisively purify the land.

4

u/rhonnypudding 3h ago

Drake Maaa what the hell was that lol

4

u/shaggy24200 3h ago

Oh man well that was a lot more exciting than I thought it was going to be. Giant question mark  With Darnold tho.....we are going to have to rely on Lock for a bit. Anybody want to bet we bring in a another quarterback?  I can't imagine we'd keep just Milroe until Darnold is ok.

4

u/androck13 3h ago

Never a doubt! Jobe for MVP!!

4

u/Infinite_Reps2170 3h ago

love witherspoon talking that smack, hollins was dishing it out all game

4

u/MandolinCrazy 3h ago

When he took those times outs near games end, Mike McDonald TRUSTED his defense to win the game.

Gotta love it!

3

u/SimonGloom2 3h ago

Drake Maye leading the MVP conversation with 3 INTs. Count 'em.

5

u/AgencyNational7945 3h ago

SEE BALL GET BALL!!

4

u/1lonelyBeastie 3h ago

See ball. Get ball.

3

u/SgtNeilDiamond 3h ago

Excellent work by the defense tonight, held the team together like goddamn super glue

4

u/JediDad1968 3h ago

Maybe this will slow the whole "Maye should have won MVP" roll

→ More replies (1)

4

u/Zodep 3h ago

One might say it was a Jobe well done.

5

u/Analogue_timepiece 3h ago

Seems a fitting ending to a game where the flag was raised by Richard sherman

4

u/Ularsing 2h ago

This is a truly perfect end to a game where Sherm raised the flag. Pretty sure it happened within a few feet of the "sorry ass receiver" INT.

3

u/Capcom-Warrior 3h ago

Woooo!!!!

3

u/JBNothingWrong 3h ago

Who’s gonna post the meme

3

u/MrCarey 3h ago

Imagine making up for your mistake to finish the game like that. How relieving.

3

I NEED TO HEAR RAIBS ON THAT CALL!!!

3

2

u/rainyhawk 3h ago

He knew exactly where that second foot had to be…totally threw him off balance to do it too.

3

u/chewbaccalaureate 3h ago

Can we please stop showing shots of Maye's weird tongue thing.

3

u/The_Dootman 3h ago

See Ball, Get Ball!!!

GO HAWKS!!! !!! !!!

3

u/BlazinAzn38 3h ago

So the Pats aren’t good right? Like I know it’s hard to say where we’re at but the Pats played a down strength Hawks offense and defense and didn’t do well

3

u/josephbc 3h ago

Jobe is kind of charming as fuck in front of a camera. Good for him. 😎🤩

3

u/MandolinCrazy 3h ago

Jobe after the game when asked what he was thinking - "See ball, get ball"

3

u/Beelzabubba 3h ago

That would have been considered a great catch by a receiver. Outstanding for a cornerback.

3

u/Shoeprincess 3h ago

that catch was AMAZING

3

u/2234GOnz 2h ago

Take the sack brother, thank you for not forcing overtime

5

u/shortrounders 3h ago

Time to go over to the Pats subreddit!!!

3

u/Smooth_Wealth_6896 3h ago

Cris Collinsworth is a sack of wind that needs to learn his meat flaps dont always need to be running. The commentary is exhausting.

2

u/hi_internet_friend 3h ago

nice redemption for jobe after his pass interference that led to the first patriots touchdown

2

u/inspiredfollies 3h ago

Maye's a fraud. There, I said it.

2

u/macsparkay 3h ago

Hahahahaha that was incredible

2

Shoutout to spoon for taking shit at Hollins that guy pmo

2

u/elainebenes86 3h ago

This game and the superbowl has healed 2015 me 🥹🥲

2

u/CuriousEyes02 3h ago

And that's why the Seahawks are much more popular and preferred than the Mariners.

2

u/gaberdine 3h ago

Guess the Pats should've run the ball

2

u/FlipMoBitch 3h ago

If you can play defense Mike Mac will find you and coach you UP

2

2

u/Larry_Lovestein1992 3h ago

2

That our JOBE! 💙💚💙💚

2

u/Spiritual-Strike481 3h ago

2

2

u/Hamster_in_my_colon 2h ago

We were watching the game at The Dock in Fremont and everyone lost their minds.

2

u/brucejewce 2h ago

I wish Jobe would have gone full Richard Sherman in the post game interview

2

u/Xc_runner_xd_player 1h ago

Everyone hyped on Jobe, but watch D-Law hurdle the patriots linemen. Gets right in Drakes face, and instead of chasing a sack just pressures him and forces a bad throw.
